Manchester Wedding Photographer - Jody & Marc
I've known Jody for nearly 15 years now as we used to work together. I was delighted when she asked me to capture their day. I hadn't had the opportunity of meeting Marc until the day of the wedding but like Jody, he's pretty cool.
Albeit Jody doesn't consider herself a photographer, she certainly knows her way around a camera. So this wedding brought with it a little added pressure. But I do like a challenge.
The day started off with everyone getting ready at The Midland Hotel in the centre of Manchester before the ceremony at Manchester Register Office.
Amazingly the weather was on my side for a change. Well....it was until after the ceremony and then it was back to a normal wet Manchester. This would have been fine except everything up until this point had been in doors (rolls eyes)
So a quick dash over the road for drinks at The Chop House. We did manage to steal a bit of a break in the rain, so all wasn't lost.
Fortunately the rain held off for the short walk across Albert Square to Piccolino's. Jody & Marc were kind enough to pay for my meal and what a meal it was. This was my first visit to Piccoliono's but it most definitely wont be my last. The food was amazing. If you have never been id certainly go give it a blast.
After the lovely meal it was more drinks and dancing at Barca, Castlefield.
I had an awesome day. Its such a privilege to be invited to photograph a wedding and I cant thanks Jody & Marc enough for the opportunity.
Massive thanks to Mathew Peters for assisting on the day. Below is a small selection of the images from the day.
